Due to a recent attack on the Fairy Tail Guild, the members were to stay together in groups making Lucy Heartfilia's House a place for Erza Scarlet, Natsu Dragneel and Gray Fullbuster to stay the night at. Erza tells Gray and Natsu that they need to take Baths because they smell but they refuse and Erza forces both of them to take a bath with her just like they used to do when they were younger. After they borrow Lucy's Undermount Bathtub for an Off Screen bath, Lucy has her own bath off screen and is seen exiting the bathroom drying her hair with a Towel.
Anime Differences

This scene was adapted in the 21st episode of the anime and Lucy's bath is shown on screen in it with Plue also being with her. The anime doesn't show Lucy coming out in pajamas and drying her hair with a towel. The anime also shows us Erza wearing a Pink Towel before she ex-quips into her pajamas.

Release
This chapter was first released in 2007 in Weekly Shonen Magazine. In September 14th, 2007 the chapter was printed and published by Kodansha in the sixth manga volume released in Japan. The scene was officially translated and released in North America in volume 6 published by Del Rey Manga on April 28th, 2009.

Lucy Heartfilia takes an Off Screen Bath with Plue after coming home at night and happily finding out that none of her guild mates barged into her house. In the bath, Lucy finds out that Plue deflates when he's in hot water. When we see Lucy, she is in a Towel with her hair tied up and looking in the mirror with Plue sitting on the sink deflated.
Anime Differences

This scene was adapted in the 42nd episode of the anime and Lucy's bath is shown on screen in it with Plue also being with her. The anime also changes Lucy's white towel into a Green Towel.

Implied Bathers
This is an alphabetical list of characters who have no form of bathing related scene but a bathing facility that is in the place they live in has been shown implying that they have bathed in it atleast one point in their life off screen.
- The unnamed Landlady that Lucy Heartfilia rents her Magnolia apartment from. Being the actual owner of the apartment it is possible that she could have used the Ofuro and bathed in its Undermount Bathtub at one point. After Lucy disappeared for 7 years on Tenrou Island, it is revealed that the Landlady who wasn't receiving her rent has loitered around Lucy's apartment doing things such as wearing her clothes so the idea of using her bath as well seems likely.
- Michelle Lobster (real name Imitatia) is a girl who claimed to be a relative to Lucy Heartfilia during the "Key of the Starry Sky arc". She was taken in by Lucy and briefly lived with her at her Magnolia apartment so it is possible that she may have used the Ofuro and bathed in its Undermount Bathtub at one point.
- Ur is the ice magic mentor and foster parent of Gray Fullbuster and Lyon Vastia during their youth. She lived in a cabin in a snowy mountain region which had a Hinoki Bathtub inside of it and an Oil Drum outside. She presumably took her Baths in atleast one of these. She is shown to be the one that heats the baths up. Seeing that Gray and Lyon sometimes took Cold Baths with ice in the hinoki tub to train it can be possible she did this method of training as well. Due to her being the origin of Gray and Lyon's spontaneous Stripping habits and lack of modesty, it is likely that she doesn't care if males see her bathe.
