Release

This chapter first released in Weekly Shonen Champion sometime in 1973. It was complied into the second manga volume in Japan on April 1st, 1974.

Anime Differences

This scene was never adapted into the anime series since most of the adaptations tell a different story completely, Cutie Honey Universe which followed the manga closer than previous adaptations skipped this scene which would have been in episodes 4, 5 or 6 if they didn't skip it.

Trivia

• This is the first Cutie Honey bathing scene to take place in a bathtub.
• It is Unspecified if the tubs in the St. Chapel Academy Dorms are Clawfoot Bathtubs, Flat Bathtubs or Pedestal Bathtubs since the bottoms of them are never shown. Honey Vs. chapter 1 shows that they are clawfoots but the tub is also a Slipper Bathtub so it is potentially in a different continuity.
• Since the tub is grayed out, this implies that the St. Chapel Academy Dorm bathtubs aren't white but the color isn't confirmed since this tub is never shown in any anime adaptations. This is also addressed in the Honey Vs. chapter 1 continuity where they made the tub red.
